See the classic Dutch countryside in a private car.

I offer two routes: the first the one I love most, which is more a local experience, than the 2nd, more classic option.

Option 1: Zaanse Schans – Medemblik – Enkhuizen. This is my favorite option.

We start with an early visit to Zaanse Schans to beat the crowds, and a small hidden area, not visited by the tour bus crowds.

Then on to Medemblik, a beautiful city on the lake, where we’ll have lunch (included), before you board a nostalgic museum boat ferry from Medemblik to Enkhuizen, one of the most important VOC cities at the time.

Here we take a city walk along some beautiful monuments before we end the day with a drink, before we head back.

(Only available in season March – October, on sailing days)

Option 2: Zaanse Schans, Edam, Volendam, and Marken.

This is the more classic route, also offered by most tour bus companies, but then in more comfort, and some local spots, the tourbuses do not see. But this is less of a local experience, than option one.

We start early at Zaanse Schans, then we continue to Edam, and Volendam where we have lunch (included) from here you take the ferry to Marken (included). I try to take you away from the tour bus crowds when when possible, but this is less of a local experience than the first option.
