Table of Contents
1. Dutch Foods Gifts
Here my selection of wonderful Dutch food product gifts. Like a tasting basking, a poffertjes kit, beautiful tins, or wonderful Dutch chocolates.
This is a beautiful gift from Holland for a friend or to treat yourself. - Filled with three Dutch cheeses like Gouda and Leyden Cheeses, Dutch Mustard, Crackers, Tea, Chocolate, and Mini Waffles.
I love this kit. Poffertjes isn't just the mix. It's also the pan. They need a particular form to bake to perfection. This kit has everything you need, from the poffertjes pan to the mix.
Do you love Stroopwafels? I do. This package is excellent since it comes with two tins. One for you and one to give away!
Wilhelmina Peppermints are Dutch classics. I really like this beautifully designed tin. It makes it extra Dutch! No need to carry souvenirs home in your suitcase.
Droste Chocolates is one of the best-selling chocolates in Holland, especially for gifts. This box is no exception, beautiful chocolates with a windmill print.
2. Dutch Snack and Dutch Candies
Sometimes nothing beats a cookie or candy. Especially if they remind you of your vacation or home (or just because you love the flavor). Here are four Dutch treats to satisfy your sweet tooth.
One Dutch product that is an acquired taste, but the Dutch love, most be salted licorice. I love it. But I warn you, it's not for everyone!
These are my guilty pleasure. Hopjes are dutch-food-food-items coffee-flavored candies from the Netherlands. And Rademarker is the best-known brand.
3. Dutch Food Classics
Whether you’re looking for getting some Dutch food market quality Dutch cheese. Bake your own poffertjes or Dutch pancakes. You want to celebrate a newborn with “Beschuit met Muisjes”. Or just indulge yourself with a fresh fluffy bread roll, real butter and a thick layer of Hagelslag you’ll find it all below.
And best of off delivered straight to your home.
A quarter wheel (6 lbs.) of my favorite cheese: well matured Gouda Cheese from Beemster. The flavor is fantastic.
If you're looking for a Dutch cheese platter, then this is all you need. Four lovely Dutch cheeses: Beemster Classic Extra Aged, Leyden Cheese, Dorothea Cheese, and Dutch Gouda.
Enjoy this beautiful matured cheese from The Netherlands. This cheese is double-aged for 4 years. Called "Brokkelkaas" in Dutch. It's falls apart and is just wonderful.
Beschuit is a must-have for a newborn (serve them with blue or pink muisjes). It's also wonderful with butter and Hagelslag.
These sprinkles are a must-have for every Dutch baby shower. This is the pink version. There is also a blue. Don't want to declare Boy or Girl? Just mix the two boxes 😉

Hagelslag: the most Dutch of them all. The Dutch love their chocolate sprinkles. And it's not just a decoration either. No, it's a legalized bread topping, that allows eating heaps of chocolate for breakfast or lunch!
The Dutch love their chocolate sprinkles. No, it's a legalized bread topping, a free pass for eating chocolate for breakfast or lunch! This is the dark chocolate version (which I prefer over the original).
Want a quick and easy Dutch poffertje fix for an affordable price? Then you can't go wrong with these store-bought, ready-made Poffertjes. Not as great as homemade, but certainly easy!
American-made but Dutch recipe. This is an excellent way for Americans to enjoy this Dutch classic. The original is to top them with powdered sugar and butter (which will melt).
Slightly more expensive than the American brand above, but this is the original. This is what the Dutch buy in their local supermarket. Make sure you have a poffertjes pan (if not, click link for options).
Another original mix, Dutch pancake mix. Baked perfect Dutch pancakes and top them the Dutch way, with cheese and bacon or slices of apple, and make sure not to forget the powdered sugar and stroop.
Enjoy a Dutch breakfast classic. Peijnenburg is the original. The Dutch eat it with a thick layer of real butter.
Final Thoughts
