A full spring day combining Keukenhof and real working tulip/spring flower fields, planned around crowds

If you want to see Keukenhof and real working flower fields far away from where the tourist busses go to in one well-paced day, this is the tour I recommend.

Keukenhof is beautiful, but an immensely popular park. For that reason I recommend an early start (7:30 a.m. departure) so you can enjoy the gardens at their most quiet moments, something you will be grateful for once you see the crowds arrive when you leave.

This tour is all about showing you two very different sides of spring flowers in the Netherlands:

• The carefully and beautifully designed gardens at Keukenhof
• Working fields where tulips and/or other spring flowers are grown for trade, far away from the busy tour buses

Who This Tour Is For, And Who Should Skip It

This tour is a good fit if you:

• Want to see Keukenhof but don’t want to deal with transport, parking, or timing
• Prefer a full, varied day rather than only one location
• Enjoy gardens and countryside
• Appreciate a flexible plan that adjusts to crowds and bloom conditions

This tour is not ideal if you:

• Want to spend most of the day inside Keukenhof
• Prefer a shorter or half-day outing

How the Day Works

This is a private full-day tour

• I pick you up at your accommodation
• We time the Keukenhof visit to avoid the busiest periods as much as possible
• After Keukenhof, we head into the countryside to visit real working flower fields
• There’s time to stop, walk, and enjoy the landscape, not just look from the car

Because bloom and crowds change week by week, I adjust the order of the day when needed.

• Skip the true working fields, or take you to “small for tourists only fields” nearby

• 100% refund of all funds paid up to 60 days before your tour.
• 59 days to 7 days before your tour: you forfeit the 25% deposit.
  • If you paid in full, you will receive a 75% refund.
• Within 7 days of the tour: no refunds. But when possible, I’m happy to help with re-booking to a new date or tour.
