Keukenhof Parking 2025: Everything You Need to Know 🅿️

If. you landed on this page, you most likely want to know if there is enough parking at Keukenhof, and how much it costs.

Let me answer these questions right away:

👋 Hi, I’m Gerrit — your local Dutch guide behind Hidden Holland. I help travelers plan smarter trips. See how I can help →

Parking Availability at Keukenhof

Yes, there’s plenty of Keukenhof parking at Keukenhof.

The garden complex has space for 4,500 cars and 1,000 coaches across two large parking areas.

Since the park is now time slotted, there are never more visitors than spaces.

Keukenhof Parking Prices

The regular Keukenhof parking rate for 2025 is between €12.50 and €15 per day.

But if you pre-book via my personal link here you only pay €9.

This is the same parking lot.

Just a lower rate.

Buying your ticket upfront also saves a long wait at the park.

Access Roads to Keukenhof Parking

Expect Traffic

The roads to the park are narrow, and often congested.

I hear on the traffic reports on the radio during tulips season all the time:

Traffic delays on the roads towards Keukenhof.

Expect delays of at least 30 minutes.

60 minutes on the most busy days, especially when locals visit.

Locals visit mainly on the weekend and public holidays.

Tourists usually arrive by bus.

So your main concern is locals.

Consider a Tour Instead

I recommend traveling on a tour that includes transportation and entrance.

It’s just so easy, you don’t have to drive, and the hassle with time slots is also taken care of.

You might think “I don’t want to be stuck with limited time at the park (which is usually the case on tour)”.

But some tours allow for a flexible return time.

Best of both worlds.

Busses also have a separate access road, thus those problems motorists have, won’t be yours.

Still thinking to arrive by car?

The Keukenhof’s parking facility is modern and well-organized.

Parking Address

Google Maps image of Keukenhof Parking.

📍To find the parking use this address: Stationsweg 166A, 2161 AM, Lisse.

The Keukenhof Gardens are right between Amsterdam and The Hague.

Getting there is straightforward.

If you’re coming from Amsterdam, take the A4 motorway and exit at Nieuw-Vennep.

From The Hague, take the A44 and use exit 3 for Lisse.

From there the gardens are signposted.

I recommend using Google Maps for navigation.

The address for navigation is: Stationsweg 166A, 2161 AM, Lisse.

Book your parking ticket online in advance.

You won’t need to print anything – just show the barcode on your phone.

When to Arrive For Best Parking

I recommend to arrive early, before 10 AM or after 3 PM to avoid the busiest hours.

This is especially important during peak blooming season in April.

Accessibility Keukenhof Parking

What about accessibility?

The parking areas are paved and well-maintained, with clear signage in multiple languages.

There are designated spots for disabled visitors near the entrance.

Security

Are you worried about security? You don’t have to be.

The parking areas are monitored and well-lit.

However, as with any tourist destination, lock your car and don’t leave valuables visible in your car.

For the best experience, I recommend purchasing your parking ticket online in advance.

This not only guarantees your spot but also saves you time upon arrival.

Remember, during peak season (especially weekends in April), the roads towards the park can become congested quite quickly.

Planning ahead is essential.

The Keukenhof park is open in 2025 from 20 March to 11 May.

Frequently Asked Questions Keukenhof Parking

Can I reserve a specific parking spot at Keukenhof?

No, specific spots cannot be reserved. However, booking a parking ticket online guarantees you a space in the parking area for your chosen date.

Is there a shuttle service from the parking lot to the entrance?

The parking areas are directly adjacent to the entrance, so no shuttle service is necessary. It’s a short walk to the main gate. Handicap parking is located direct in front of the entrance building.

What payment methods are accepted for parking?

Credit cards and cash are accepted on-site, I recommend to book online in advance while you book you entry tickets. You avoid the wait at the payment desks or machines. It is a lot more convenient to book ahead of time.

Are there charging stations for electric vehicles?

Yes, there are several EV charging points available in the parking area. These operate on a first-come, first-served basis. I would not count on it. Thankfully there are plenty of fast charging stations all around the country. Charging your electric car in The Netherlands is not a problem.

What happens if the parking lot is full when I arrive?

I have never seen this happen. Especially, now visits are time slotted. But on extremely busy days, overflow parking areas are available nearby. Staff will direct you to these alternatives if needed.
